Apple announced the new product Apple Ipad

which will be officially on the market

on the March 2010. The price will be 499 usd

This product was developed from the revolutionary iphone

Safari

The large Multi-Touch screen on iPad lets you see web pages as they were meant to be seen — one page at a time. With vibrant color and sharp text. So whether you’re looking at a page in portrait or landscape, you can see everything at a size that’s actually readable. And with iPad, navigating the web has never been easier or more intuitive. Because you use the most natural pointing device there is: your finger. Scroll through a page just by flicking your finger up or down on the screen. Or pinch to zoom in or out on a photo. Mail

See and touch your email in ways you never could before. In landscape, you get a split-screen view showing both an opened email and the messages in your inbox. If someone emails you a photo, you can see it right in the message. which is pretty impressive and really attracted me
maybe i would consider to have 1, although it cant make cellphone calls
as there are no any sim slots..
However, internet calls are still available.

Now the disadvantages of Ipad.
After i look through some comments,
and i realized ppl go for the few similar things.
Ipad, which support a very nice safari browser
are not supporting any flash components on the internet.
Although some say tablet's or phone's flash players on the browser are poor
I felt it is important to the browsers nowadays
ppl tend to make their websites more interesting using flash.

2nd disadvantage
when i 1st saw the way they browse the internet,
1st is wifi, 2nd is using 3G.
I wonder... 3G, does tat means we can insert a sim card
and then we can make calls from there?
but it looks pretty funny as this phone is dam big.
but with the big screen..
wow !! we can 3G just like looking each other face to face
on the actual size..
COOL !!!

then i found out.. i was wrong


A new kind of sim which call " MicroSiM" was introduced..
which only supports 3G internet connectivities..
which i think i could take years for other countries like Malaysia to develop.

looking forward for this Ipad. CooL GadGets ^^

BanGKoK TRiP DaY 2

AfTeR EaTinG our breakfast in the hotel
Tour Guide which we booked earlier came

Here comes our DaY 2 Plan.
Just Plan..

we followed the guide to a pier

which is above.. just a simple pier, but can c different different things ^^



Some local ppl like to take bath here
or wash their clothes here
I wonder if the clothes can be clean
taking bath here i noticed actually is very dangerous
when the boat came near to the pier,
it actually creates a wave
which can be deadly

above wasnt the boat we took of coz,
is a abandoned boat which gave me an old-school feel
so i took it black n white
got the chance to test out my new camera also XD
We went to the end of the canal tour, which is a mini zoo i can say
there is a performance going on inside
which is a snake show, ppl playing with jumping snakes etc
but we din go for that, as we think it is not tat special
we stayed outside, taking pictures and chatting
Then 1 uncle came, selling coconut ice cream on a boat

ice cream is good and sweet ^^ i ate 2 cups

1 more thing i discovered is their boats

they use truck engines

which they say it is stronger than any other engines ^^ woohoo..


At the beginning, we wanted to take sky train to few temples by our own
however some of them suggested
the tour guide is here, y dun we just ask him to take us round ?
so we talked to him and say ok.. ON LAA !!

he brought us to 3 temples.. dunno wat pho wat dunno wat ==
i cant really remember their names
is short but i just cant memorize them..

First 1 we went is a temple full of Buddha
First 1 we saw is sleeping buddha

at the back of the sleeping buddha, ppl tend to buy coins
and put them into the pot as follow.
1 by 1 until the end. cant remember how many pots in total
but they say it can bring those who put all the pots, LonG LiFe.

Next,we arrived the next temple name the wat pho i think..
Temple of the Dawn

Before we proceed, feel things to keep in mind
this temple is free for locals,foreigners have to pay including us
no shorts that shorter than knees are allowed

Thats y gals ended up like below

1 thing funny i discovered outside this place
which is a pink color boat

I tot this boat leads us to somewhere and gonna head for it..
but realized actually it is a mini bank
for currency exchange

the stairs are so steep and small..
kind of scary climbing this.

From the peak, we can see the chao phraya river and many other temples
and buildings..

Going down is also a difficulty to me,
in fact is more difficult than going up ><
Followed by, is the last temple we visited

It is a smaller temple with just a few Buddha statues and king statues

It is a simple shop which sells simple fishball noodles
but the noodles are dam excellent
I also noticed that, the shop was promoted in the newspaper advertisement
on the wall ^^
we are lucky to discovered this shop
we enjoyed the food, and i ate 2 bowls XD

after eating, we continued our journey to the "WesT"
sorry this blog seems longer winded than other blogs
as too many to write

We continue walking and pass through a very nice park
and we continue walking until we reached a mall
and we found wat we are looking for, McDoNaLds !!!
in stead of Mcdonalds, they named it McTHai !!

We are so excited
as we know McThai has Pork in it XD
however the burgers are not well served like i expected

We walked along the streets again and this time
we headed to a night bazaar

When we about to take the sky train,
under the station, there is a night market going on.

we shopped here, and only then
we headed to the next stop

We walked along the bazaar and wow !! there are tons of things can be purchased
but we din get to buy any
We came to bangkok somehow for pork,
and we dun wanna ended up we are the pork

we headed back to hotel by sky train and walk
